What we do

Independent, hands-on reviews of AI accounting and bookkeeping platforms. Every review includes account-opening testing, pricing verification against vendor pricing pages, and feature-matrix construction.

Sourcing standards

• Pricing: vendor pricing pages directly, re-verified quarterly. Every review shows a last-verified date.
• User ratings: G2, Capterra, Trustpilot — current counts linked directly.
• Feature claims: vendor documentation + our hands-on testing. Claims we cannot verify hands-on are flagged as vendor-reported.
• Compliance (SOC 2, GDPR): vendor-published attestations, with date of attestation cited.

Vendor blogs are never used as primary sources for factual claims about competitors.

Update cadence

• Pricing and feature data: re-verified quarterly.
• Major events (vendor shutdown, acquisition, pricing model change): reflected within 72 hours.
• AI-feature capability: re-verified semi-annually as vendors ship updates.

We earn affiliate commissions when readers sign up through links on this site. Disclosure appears above the fold on every affiliate-linked page. Rankings are independent of commission amount — the top-ranked tool is not the tool that pays us most.

Conflict-of-interest policy

• No paid placements disguised as editorial content.
• Vendors do not preview or edit reviews.
• When a vendor becomes an affiliate partner after a review publishes, disclosure is added immediately.
